Are you ready for the new academic year?

banking consumer behaviour English insight research Think with Google Blog
Monday, July 20, 2009

We would like to share with you some insights and opportunities in the student banking market. This research (PDF) examines this highly seasonal market. By examining previous trends, a prediction of the 2009 student banking season has been made. Indicators suggest that this year queries will be slightly higher than in 2008. This is affected by general query growth in this area but also by the impact of macroeconomic variables which are driving people back into education. Queries are already outperforming 2008 figures but it is estimated that traffic will not peak until slightly later this year. Further insights suggest that a ‘reactive’ rather than proactive response from advertisers may not be financially beneficial. To find out more download the presentation (PDF).

This presentation and others can be found in the insights archive on the Google UK Advertising Toolkit.
